Megan Davis
Assistant Professor

I am a clinical-community psychologist and director of the Life Experience And Resilient Neurodevelopment (LEARN) Lab at the University of Kentucky. My research uses multiple methods, including interviews, neuropsychological tasks, and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to study how interpersonal experiences from friendship to adversity shape brain and behavior development in childhood, adolescence, and emerging adulthood. Ultimately, this work aims to identify pathways that increase risk for negative outcomes like anxiety and depression and to study and promote positive adaptations and wellbeing.

I will be reviewing applications for new PhD students to join the lab in fall 2026.
