Sonja Dahl

PhD Student
Teaching Assistant

I’m a PhD student with interests in critical prison studies, carceral & abolition geographies, and connections between prisons and environmental justice. Before starting my PhD, I lived, worked, and took part in anti-prison movement groups in Philadelphia. I value using transformative, critical thinking and research tools in service of social movements.
