The Mapping and GIScience program at the University of Kentucky prepares students to understand and analyze spatial relationships through geographic information systems (GIS), cartography, remote sensing and geospatial technologies.
Students develop technical and analytical skills while learning how mapping and spatial data are used to address real-world challenges in areas such as environmental sustainability, urban planning, emergency management, public health and business analytics.
