Originally hailing from Amsterdam, I am now a PhD student in Geography. My dissertation research is looking at the everyday use of public spaces in New York City through the Geoweb, while my broader interests lie at the intersection of urban and internet geographies using a mix of methodologies (e.g. GIS, social network analysis) from a 'critical' perspective.
